Joomla! 5Joomla! 4After sometime of checking and fixing the source for our HitZero plugin we are ready!
Ready to release the Joomla! 5 version of this simple but very effective plugin. From now on you can use the HitZero functions not only in the Joomla! 4 version but also in Joomla! 5. There is no need for the Backwards Compatible plugin to use HitZero. All the code is rewritten to be fully J!5 compatiable.
Also fixed is the update check for the plugin and all our upcoming extensions releases. It took sometime but works like a charm again :-)
Don't know what HitZero can do for your? You can find a bit more information on the product page and you can download it from the HitZero download section. Ofcourse we've documentation for HitZero which can be found here.
Starting from today the Breadcrumbs Advanced Plus module is taken offline.
The module does not work correctly with the added effects in Joomla! 3.10.x nor will they work correctly in Joomla! 4.x. We are working on a new version but the current present effects will not be implemented.
For all user who have a license for BCAPlus can now download the BreadCrumbs CSS module with the same license! We sincerely apoligize for taking this module offline but a quick fix can not be used because most of the code should be rewritten.
With your BCAPlus license you can still download the module and use the default settings with the "cut off" functions but we cannot give any support for the effects to use in this module. Ofcourse we would like to help you along with the BCA CSS module :-)
Joomla! 4We're enjoying all the responses to the HitZero plugin so added some new feature to it :-)
This version has some major code optimation done to it and cleared of all 'old' Joomla! 3 code. Also added is the use of the BootStrap modal popup box which is used in other Joomla! 4 areas. Way better than the ugly Javascript popup we used before.
Also new is the possibility to clear the hits when you're editting your article. The Publishing tab contains a readonly field with the total number of hits for an article. The HitZero plugin now adds a Bootstrap button to reset the hits in that field. Just a nice addon, we think!
You can find a bit more information on the product page and you can download it from the HitZero download section. Ofcourse we've also updated the documentation for HitZero which can be found here.
Okay, we'll have to admit we've made a silly mistake with the 1.2.0 release.
As we always test our extensions in a freshly installed Joomla! but with the Debug System option to on we had missed the HitZero plugin doesn;t load jQuery correctly when Debug System is set to off. Our bad but just now we've updated the HitZero plugin for you to download. Still free to use on any of your websites ;-)
You can find a bit more information on the product page and you can download it from the HitZero download section. Ofcourse we've also created documentation for the plugin which can be found here.
The last few days we've spent some spare time on updating the HitZero plugin for Joomla!.
This new version will only work in Joomla! 4.2.x :(and higher) with all the extra added buttons. In the previous version the article-buttons cannot be displayed in the latest Joomla! 4 update. So we've fixed it and made the code a bit slimmer just to optimize it.
Ofcourse this version is still free to download, free to use and on as many sites as you like.
You can find a bit more information on the product page and you can download it from the HitZero download section. Ofcourse we've also created documentation for the plugin which can be found here.
Because we want our site to work correctly and simple for our users we need plan regular maintenance. Most of the time this maintenance is done 'backstage' without the need to go offline and being unreachable to our users.
In some cases downtime cannot be avoided we've planned these changes for the upcoming week. In the backend several major components needs to be updated and reconfigured to keep our site working correctly.
We realize changes aren't bad but can be inconvenient. So we're trying to keep the downtime to a minimum but it could be possible you cannot reach our site when needed. When that happends please try to log in at a later time.
One of the changes is the installation of a new update system for our extensions so they can be updated using the Joomla! Update System again. To do so all our extensions will also be updated and ready to be downloaded.
If you have a extension with a subscription you'll have to change your generated Download ID's because the old Download ID's do not work with the new system. For now the download ID option is disabled and will become available after the major update. Ofcourse we will post an update message on this page when the Download ID's are available again.
Thank you for your understanding and for questions or problems you can always fill out our contact form.
Today we have switched from the Akeeba Release System to eDocMan for our files to be downloaded from the site.
Because the Akeeba Release System is a internal extension for a while now we had to switch so we can deliver good quality download links to our users. Not all the features from the Akeeba Release System are yet available in eDocman so somethings are yet missing. We are planning to have more features included but for now we'll have to do with what we've got.
The individual download ID's to integrate our payed components are no longer available nor functional. We will try to bring back this functionality very soon. Another thing that just isn't possible at the moment is using the update feature from within Joomla! to update our extensions.
We'll do the best we can to release new versions of our extensions to implement this feature back in a short period of time.
Our apologies to all our loyal user for this inconvience, we had no other choice in planning this change to our website. Due to possibile security issues we had to swich on a short notice. We promise we'll make it up to all our subscribed users with an nice present.
